caption**PLEASE NOTE MANDATORY BYLINE** PIC BY Lee Smith / CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED AN OSPREY SWOOPS ) - Catch of the day these images show the moment a bird of prey swoops down on his unsuspecting victim. Lee Smith, 47, captured the Osprey at River Gwash Trout Farm at Horn Mill in Oakham. Thanks to his impeccable timing, the self-taught wildlife photographer, waited patiently for the Osprey until he decided to pounce and caught it all on camera. Lee, from Lincoln, said: Ive always loved nature and stopping time has always fascinated me so photographing moving animals seemed to fit the bill. You only have one chance to get it right, its not like you can ask the subject to do it again, and I love that challenge. SEE CATERS COPY
