A taxi driver has been pulled over by police and fined for trying to move the contents of an entire house on a trailer attached to the back of his cab.

Police could not believe their eyes when they saw the taxi near the city of Emalahleni in eastern South Africa's Mpumalanga Province.

The gigantic load piled on the trailer was about 10.5 metres (35 feet) high - more than twice the height of the minibus.

It contained 10 bar fridges, 14 microwaves, window frames, beds, sack
