VIDEO: Horrifying moment two students get electrocuted and one dies on way to school Footage has captured the horrifying moment two students were electrocuted on their way to school. The incident occurred on Wednesday (21 August) in the morning. One of the students, identified as Tanveer, 11, is believed to have tragically lost his life due to the severe burns sustained, reports NeedToKnow. His friend, who suffered serious injuries, currently remains in a critical condition after being rushed to hospital by bystanders. In the clip, the two boys can be seen riding around the corner on the same bike. Suddenly, they lose control and fall off, as the bike begins to spark. A motorcyclist comes around the corner and notices the two boys lying on the ground, not moving. Another person arrives on the scene, as Tanveer’s body begins to smoke. The video cuts to showing a hoard of people surrounding the two boys, before three men hoist one of them up, escorting him away. The tragic ordeal took place on Agadi Street, while on their way to Vidyasagar School in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, India. It’s believed an electrical wire was hanging too low, causing the two students to come into contact with the high-tension wire. Now, many locals in the area are claiming the accident is due to the incompetence of the electricity authorities. According to local reports, Andhra Minister Nara Lokesh has expressed their shock and sadness, promising swift action to prevent any similar tragedies in the future. The government is believed to have directed the electrical department to enhance their awareness, too. Currently, the police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances. One of the students, identified as Tanveer, 11, is believed to have tragically lost his life due to the severe burns sustained, reports NeedToKnow.
