Check out these amazing personalised gifts that a couple got for the guests at their wedding that all had each guest’s seat number on. When Nadia Howard and Ashley Smith, from Essex, UK, got married, they wanted to make sure that each guest had a gift that was personal to them. This was all to acknowledge how each person at the wedding had contributed to getting the couple to where they are today. The gifts came in the form of books that the couple thought would fit each of the guests with the books being thrifted. A lot of thought was put into the choice of each book, with their work inspiring many of the 145k viewers of the TikTok video to do similar things. Once the books were chosen, they were then adorned with covers with the guests’ names and table numbers on and arranged on a bookcase at the venue. Nadia said: “We folded covers from paper in colours that matched our table themes, so that we would not have to use tape and damage books, we added our messages to these covers, and cut out names and table numbers from vinyl to add to the spines. “We created one for each day guest, but we had just under 70 guests. “We made the bookshelf ourselves, the shelves were from old wood in my dads garage.” “Our welcome sign said welcome to our next chapter, and we had a display of love stories that came before ours with family wedding photos.” She continued: “For our mums we got them a copy of our favourite books that they read to us as children.” Nadia explained the guests’ reactions: “Our guests absolutely loved it, they were so surprised that we’d put this together in the background and the room was buzzing when the doors opened to reveal the table plan. “It was great to watch as everyone opened their books, and they read their notes, the venue was filled with smiles, laughs and happy tears.”
