captionStory from Jam Press (Seagull In Kitchen) Pictured: Video grab of the seagull inside the house. VIDEO: Sous-gull chef! Mother left fuming after unwanted 'flying rat' causes havoc in her KITCHEN A brave seagull has caused havoc in a mother’s kitchen after sneaking in through the window. In hilarious footage, you can see the winged fiend flapping around the cooking space. Gillian McCabe, 40, from Aberdeen, was alerted to the intruder after the family dog started growling and barking in the other room. Making her way to the kitchen, the chef was startled by the sight of a huge “flying rat” dancing around the room. Cowering from the seagull’s sight, Gillian recorded the funny clip from the safety of the living room. Despite the family dog trying to escort the beaked intruder out of the kitchen, the seagull was not budging. In the footage, you can see as Gillian starts to shout at the bird as it attempts to escape via a window. The seagull usually sits on the shed roof in the garden but got a bit cocky this day. This is the latest instalment in the seagull summer saga, with previous winged fiends being spotted looting B&M. “My dog started growling and barking so went to see what was happening,” Gillian told What’s The Jam. “I thought my dog was going to eat it but it kept pecking her. “We opened the door and it scared it to the worktop and it left out the open window. “Despite us nicknaming it the friendly seagull, I think they are flying rats and Aberdeen ones are huge and scary. “My daughter wanted to keep it as we already have a cat, dog, house rabbit, hamster and look after my friend parrot from time to time.” The clip was filmed on 3 August.
