LEGO FANATIC BUILDS GIANT MODEL TO RECREATE THE MOON LANDING - AND IT LOOKS IDENTICAL

LEGO FANATIC BUILDS GIANT MODEL TO RECREATE THE MOON LANDING - AND IT LOOKS IDENTICAL WITH PIX By Mikey Jones A man has recreated one of the most epic moments of wold history - in Lego. Photographer Benedek Lampert, 24, has built a copy of the Apollo 11 moon landing and Saturn space rocket made entirely using the popular children's building blocks. At first glance, his recreation could be mistaken for a photograph of the famous scene - but on closer inspection, the rocket is actually made from bricks and the clouds from the rocket jets nothing more than cotton wool. The spot-the-difference project took Benedek hundreds of hours to complete as he had to copy each minute detail of the landing site and rocket with original photos for reference. He said: "I'm a huge fan of space industry especially of the Moon landing." Benedek added that his friends and family also love his recreations which took him just a few weeks to build. He said: "Fortunately they like it. I was always curious about the people's reactions but usually they give me a positive feedback so I'm really glad. "The biggest compliment was when some of them have written to me that they thought at the first sight my Saturn V picture is the real archive one." ENDS

FEARLESS SKYDIVER LANDS ON THE BACK OF MOVING MOTORBIKE IN AMAZING STUNT

ON YOUR BIKE: FEARLESS SKYDIVER LANDS ON THE BACK OF MOVING MOTORBIKE IN AMAZING STUNT WITH PIX & VID By Joe McFarlane A fearless daredevil jumped from 4,500 ft and landed on the back of a moving motorbike in a spectacular stunt. Professional skydiver Scott Hiscoe managed to hit his mark in an incredible stunt which involved the fearless daredevil jumping from 4,500 ft in the air and landing on the back of a speeding motorbike. Taking place above Shellharbour Airport, New South Wales, Australia, the precise stunt required the 34-year-old to pull off a 630 degree turn in order to build up as much speed as possible in order to successfully land on the back of the bike. Soaring through the air above the runway on November 6, Scott had to carefully reduce his speed at the correct time to land on the seat behind rider Robbie Maddison. Scott said: “It was an awesome feeling. It was a really tricky stunt to pull off. “Although it looked like a hard landing it actually felt quite soft. “I wanted to pull this stunt off with the highest performance landing possible which we managed to do.” ENDS
